[IN-STORE ONLY] Babolat Counter Viper 2.6 Padel Racket - Yellow

The Babolat Counter Viper 2.6 (150177) is the attacking end of Babolat's Counter family — a 3K carbon padel racket for counter-strikers who want pinpoint placement first and serious power close behind. The round head keeps the sweet spot generous and central, while the stiffer 3K carbon face and X-EVA core add the bite you need to finish a point rather than merely extend it.

Key Features

• 3K carbon face — a tight carbon weave that returns energy sharply for firm drives and decisive smashes.
• X-EVA core — a responsive rubber core that keeps ball feel precise while adding pace off the face.
• Round head shape — a central, forgiving sweet spot that supports accuracy under pressure at the net.
• Vibrabsorb System² — elastomers woven into the carbon fibres reduce vibration for comfort in a stiff frame.
• 3D Spin+ — an enhanced raised surface pattern for stronger grip on the ball and heavier spin.
• Holes Pattern System — hole distribution optimised to channel impact force for precision rather than scatter.
• Smart Buttcap — customisable wrist-strap system for a secure hold on aggressive swings.

Performance Overview

At 365 g with a 270 mm balance and a 38 mm profile, the Counter Viper 2.6 is a full-bodied frame that still swings cleanly. The 3K carbon surface gives noticeably more feedback and pop than a fibreglass face, so the ball leaves quickly on flat drives and overheads — but the round head shape means you keep the tolerance that a diamond frame would trade away.

Where it earns its place is in fast exchanges and tight angles. The X-EVA core and stiff face let you take pace off an opponent's ball and redirect it with intent, converting defence into offence in a single shot. Expect a firmer, more demanding feel than the Veron, and reward for clean contact.

Benefits

• Razor-sharp placement paired with real attacking pace on demand.
• Consistent accuracy at match speed with fewer mis-hits than a diamond-shaped frame.
• Vibration control that keeps a stiff carbon face comfortable over long matches.
• Enhanced 3D Spin+ texture for heavier topspin and more effective cut smashes.

Final Verdict

The Counter Viper 2.6 is for the counter-striker who has stopped apologising for wanting power. 3K carbon and an X-EVA core give it genuine attacking punch, while the round head keeps the frame playable rather than punishing. Precision first, pace immediately after — a strong choice for competitive club and tournament padel.
